Women’s 400m Hurdles Heats
Directly after the men’s 100m, will be the women’s 400m hurdles heats. In this event athletes have to jump over ten hurdles that are placed around the track. The top finishers in these races will proceed to compete in semi-finals.
Men’s Long Jump Qualification
Next is the men’s long jump qualification. 3 attempts each to achieve the greatest distance as possible. They need to reach a qualification distance or be among the best performers in order to advance to the finals.Olympic track
Women’s Shot Put Qualification
In the field, the women’s shot put qualification will get underway where athletes throw a weighted ball (shot put) as far as possible and if they perform well enough will progress to the final.Olympic track
Midday Session
Men’s 400m Heats

Women’s 100m Heats
Afterwards, are the women’s 100m heats who are said to be the fastest female sprinters. Afternoon Session
Men’s 800m Heats
The afternoon begins with the heats of the men’s 800m. Middle-distance specialists race over two laps, as they look to finish in the top of their heats or set one of the fastest times to qualify for the semi-finals.
Women’s 1500m Heats
After the men’s 800m, we have the women’s 1500m heats. This is a done over nearly four laps of the track kind of event, as the athletes look to make it through to the semifinals.Olympic track
Men’s Triple Jump Qualification
